Rock band YB vocalist Yoon Do-hyun postponed the Ulsan concert due to health issues.
On the 10th, YB's agency Dcompany said via its official account that the 'YB Remastered 3.0' Ulsan concerts scheduled for the 14th and 15th will be postponed.
The agency said, "We are deeply grateful to the audience who have been eagerly awaiting this week's YB Remastered 3.0 Ulsan concerts," and added, "We are very sorry to bring news that fails to repay the hearts that have been waiting."
It went on, "The artist has had cold symptoms since last week and has been preparing for the concert while receiving hospital examinations and treatment. However, after the weekend concerts his throat condition worsened rapidly, and doctors advised that he must focus on treatment for the time being."
Accordingly, the artist and concert officials decided to postpone the concerts after careful discussion. The agency asked for understanding, saying, "We have reluctantly decided to postpone this week's Ulsan concerts to ensure the stable progress of the remaining tour and to present a complete performance," and, "This decision was an unavoidable judgment to allow the artist to recover and to responsibly continue the tour."
Yoon Do-hyun also personally conveyed his feelings to fans. He said, "My heart is so heavy," and promised, "I will focus on treatment and return to my original condition in Gwangju." He added that "I am receiving treatments I've never had before, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy and intravenous fluids, every day," describing his current condition.
Meanwhile, Yoon Do-hyun was diagnosed in 2021 with a rare blood cancer, gastric MALT lymphoma, and after three years of treatment he was declared cured. He returned to the stage and was actively performing, and with the news of this concert postponement fans' worries and support have followed simultaneously.
