A renewed suspicion has arisen about broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo, who escaped the 'injection aunt gate' by taking the extreme step of revealing his personal medical records. The trigger was a post that the injection aunt uploaded and then suddenly deleted.
On the 9th, A, who was identified as the 'injection aunt' and pointed out as a key figure in comedian Park Na-rae's alleged illegal medical procedures, left a post on her social media saying, "After dying once and coming back to life, my thinking has changed a lot. Staying quiet won't make my wrongdoing disappear, but that doesn't mean I have to bear things that aren't true."
Along with that, A posted images of the characters 'Jun' and 'Hyun' and then posted the 'I Live Alone' logo image. Some speculated that it might be a targeted message toward the cast of I Live Alone, noting that A followed only Jun Hyun-moo and left images of 'Jun' and 'Hyun', leading to interpretations that it referred to Jun Hyun-moo.
A is facing charges including violating the Medical Service Act and the Narcotics Control Act on suspicion of performing medical procedures on celebrities without a domestic medical license. Following Park Na-rae, SHINee's Key, and YouTuber Short Mouth Sun being implicated in the injection aunt gate and suspending activities, Jun Hyun-moo denied the illegal procedure allegations related to an online-spread scene of an IV in a car and took the extreme step of releasing his medical records. Notably, the medical records included a treatment known as a remedy for erectile dysfunction.
Although he completely distanced himself from the injection aunt gate by releasing medical records, there was still backlash. The release of the medical records even became material for entertainment. In the recently aired MBN program 'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3', Jun Hyun-moo, who went to Yeosu, Jeollanam-do, with GwakTube and chef Lu Ching Lai, went to eat salted conger eel shabu-shabu said to be good for restoring energy and heard from the owner, "You had a hard time recently, but I'm glad things worked out," because it had become known that Jun Hyun-moo, who was embroiled in the recent Park Na-rae injection aunt gate controversy, had even released his medical records as an extreme measure.
The humiliation did not end there. When Jun Hyun-moo couldn't hold back laughter after spotting 'yagwanmun,' said to be good for male vigor, on the menu, chef Lu Ching Lai drew a line saying, "I don't need it," and GwakTube also targeted Jun Hyun-moo saying, "One of you should gulp down beoltteokju." In particular, chef Lu Ching Lai urged Jun Hyun-moo to eat a heap of garlic chives, a symbol of stamina. Jun Hyun-moo snapped, "I don't need garlic chives," but then burst out laughing and self-deprecated.
Revealing medical records containing personal information required a big decision and was sensitive because of the intimate details, but Jun Hyun-moo took the extreme step of disclosing them to prove his innocence, and as a result he was able to fully distance himself from the injection aunt gate. However, the injection aunt left posts that evoked Jun Hyun-moo and rekindled the embers of extinguished suspicions. Jun Hyun-moo's side has not yet given any specific comment on this.
