Singer Lee Ji-na performed on stage despite fighting breast cancer.
On the 10th, the TV CHOSUN program 'Miss Trot 4 unaired special' aired a 1:1 death match between Lee Ji-na and Kim Hee-jin.
Lee Ji-na was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy while attending auditions. Lee Ji-na filmed her own practice process on video, and she said, "Today is the third day of chemotherapy. My body is getting worse and worse," and in the practice video she increasingly complained of pain as she repeated rehearsals.
Lee Ji-na then gathered herself and said, "My whole body hurts. Still, I have to get through this. I can do it."
To Lee Ji-na, who took the stage, MC Kim Sung-Ju cautiously asked, "As the rounds continue, we keep asking. Is your health okay?" and Lee Ji-na said, "I have recovered a lot and I am receiving treatment diligently," sharing a recent update.

In particular, watching Lee Ji-na's performance, master Kim Hee-jae could not hold back tears and sobbed, drawing attention. Kim Hee-jae said, "As I watched Ji-na's performances, I became a fan. Her voice conveyed a will to live and a positive message. That's why I think she showed a performance that deeply moved my heart," offering words of support.
Lee Ji-na also said, "When I get chemotherapy, I am sick for a week. After a week passes, my immunity builds up, and that is when I practice," she said. The result was Lee Ji-na's victory, advancing her to the next round.
