Comedian Seong Hyun-joo revealed an update on raising her precious second child.
On the 10th, Seong Hyun-joo posted several photos along with the message, "A small, clumsy human lives with us. I have to feed them frequently, even when they are sleeping, and I have to keep patting their back, and for someone who only drinks liquids they poop a lot. The things they do all day are eat, sleep, poop, cry, flail their arms and legs in the air, and now and then smile brightly."
She continued, "Anyway, my own condition is completely disregarded as I live each day like a Tamagotchi that has just come out of an incubator," and shared, "Regardless, I diligently contribute to the growth and well-being of that unfamiliar human and tell them I love you at any time. I miss them, these blessed days."
In the released photos, Seong Hyun-joo is seen tenderly caring for her five-month-old second child. Mother Seong fed the child even though she could not sit, showed picture books to play with them, and, exhausted from childcare, fell asleep holding the child. In particular, Seong gently touched the second child's hand, which was smaller than her thumb, showing affection, and she also kissed the child's cheek to express deep love.
Meanwhile, Seong Hyun-joo, who debuted as a KBS 22nd class public recruitment comedian in 2007, buried her son, the late Lee Seo-hoo, who died at age 5 after a battle with illness on Christmas 2020. Since then, every Christmas she has left posts remembering her son, and she published an essay chronicling 1,000 days with her firstborn titled Your well-being, donating all royalties to a children's hospital to convey a warm message.
