Singer Yoon Do-hyun's health news has been shared again, prompting continued worry and support from fans.
Yoon Do-hyun recently revealed on social media an episode in which he was moved by a pharmacist. He wrote, "He absolutely refused to accept the cost of the medicine and instead asked me to sing well. I felt grateful and sorry, and thought I want to be a better person and a better musician. I feel like I might cry," and posted a photo of the prescription bag. Even though he had been declared fully cured, news that he is still taking medicine and managing his health moved fans' hearts.
Earlier, Yoon Do-hyun confessed that after three years of battling illness he was declared fully cured of the rare cancer gastric malt lymphoma, surprising and moving many people. At the time he said, "The cancer cells are gone, but they could reappear anywhere. I will protect my health with humility," earning sincere support for his candid attitude.
But recently his health problems led to adjustments in his performance schedule, increasing fans' concern. YB's agency, DCompany, announced it would postpone the Ulsan performance of "YB Remastered 3.0." The agency explained, "The artist had been preparing for the concert despite cold symptoms, but his vocal condition rapidly worsened after the weekend performance. We received a medical opinion that he must focus on treatment for the time being."
Yoon Do-hyun also shared his feelings directly, saying, "My heart is very heavy. I will focus on treatment and return to the stage in good condition." He added that he is undergoing several treatments including hyperbaric oxygen therapy and IV therapy, adding to the sadness.
Fans who saw the news have been sending warm messages such as, "Even after a full recovery management won't be easy, but please recover," "Yoon Do-hyun's songs give a lot of strength," and "Health comes first; the stage will be waiting anytime."
