'Oh Eun-young report - family hell' a father of the 'Ae-mo family' standing in the midst of the cycle of violence appears.
Last week's broadcast of MBC 'Oh Eun-young Report - Family Hell' (hereinafter 'Family Hell') featured the story of the 'Ae-mo family,' whose son, who had been abused by his mother as a child, still becomes intimidated whenever he stands in front of her as an adult, and who has lived carrying persistent conflicts with that son, drawing heated attention. Last week the 'Ae-mo family' son revealed that he was beaten by his mother even while sleeping and was once beaten until his head was split, which provoked sympathy.
On Monday, Feb. 9, at 9 p.m., 'Family Hell' will reveal the second story of the 'Ae-mo family.' In this week's broadcast, the 'Ae-mo family' mother delivers a shocking confession, saying, "I was beaten by my husband when I was full-term, and I was tormented by my husband until last year," which unsettles the studio.
Violence begets more violence and has been repeated for 30 years. The 'Ae-mo family' mother says she knocked on the door of 'Oh Eun-young Report' with more desperate feelings than anyone else. Dr. Oh Eun-young expresses sorrow over the family's long-buried wounds, saying, "You too were a victim of domestic violence."
The attitude of the 'Ae-mo family' father revealed afterward shocks the MCs. While the mother, son and daughter discuss serious stories about past abuse, the father remains consistently indifferent and even ends up smiling. Dr. Oh Eun-young points out that "neglect is also a form of abuse" in response to the father's incomprehensible attitude, and special MC Jang Dong-min laments, "The father is the biggest problem." However, the son shows an almost resigned attitude, saying, "I already knew my father would be like that."
