The group Big Bang is preparing a full-group comeback to mark its 20th anniversary since debut.
On the 9th, according to agency Galaxy Corporation, G-Dragon held a fan meeting, 2026 G-DRAGON "FAM" MEETING [FAM+ILY : FAMILY : FAM I LOVE YOU], at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul from the 6th to the 8th, where he met fans.
That day G-Dragon spoke with fans and said, "This year BIGBANG is making a 20th anniversary comeback. As a member and at the same time as a fan, I am also looking forward to it, and I think all the members feel the same," conveying his excitement about the comeback.
Earlier, G-Dragon had mentioned a full-group comeback for Big Bang since last year. After winning best male solo artist at the 2025 MMA, he said, "I think this is the first time a male solo artist has won at the MMA. Thank you again to VIPs," and added, "I have a wish that next year we would win a group award," drawing attention.
Big Bang, who debuted in 2006, marks its 20th debut anniversary this year. With G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung all showing great ability and receiving love as solo artists, anticipation grows for Big Bang's return four years after the 2022 digital single "Spring Summer Fall Winter."
Meanwhile, member T.O.P, who left the team in 2023, is returning to the music scene with a solo song for the first time in 13 years. The music video for his solo song features singer and actress Nana, who appears to lend support.
However, in an interview conducted during his appearance in the 2024 Netflix original series "Squid Game Season 2," T.O.P drew a line regarding a Big Bang return.
He cautiously answered, "I thought 'Spring Summer Fall Winter' was the final project," "Seeing that fans still want a reunion and hold onto hope made me not so much angry as unable to share that feeling and it hurt my heart," and "I feel guilty toward the members and think I will have to live with that apology for the rest of my life."
