IM, a member of the group MONSTA X, enlisted for active duty on the 9th. After completing basic military training at the Army Training Center, IM is scheduled to serve as an active-duty soldier.
Agency Starship Entertainment said that IM entered the Army Training Center that day and began military service. With IM, all MONSTA X members will have completed their military service.
Since debuting with MONSTA X in 2015, IM has expanded his reach as a solo artist alongside group activities. In 2021, he released a solo album, and recently, he also took the stage at MONSTA X's world tour "The X: NEXUS," held at Seoul's KSPO Dome, to meet fans.
Through the agency, IM said he was truly happy to be able to greet Monbebe (MONSTA X fandom) more closely as the world tour began, and added that he would complete his service in good health and return, asking Monbebe to take good care of their bodies and minds until they meet again.
