Singer and actor Hwang Min-hyun sweetly colored the winter night with his generous love for fans, including a surprise performance of a new song.
Hwang Min-hyun held "Hwang Min-hyun fan meeting 'Dohwawon' - Seoul (hereinafter Dohwawon)" at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, Seoul, from the 6th to the 8th. Tickets sold out quickly on the day FC membership presale opened, making clear the fans' unwavering love for Hwang Min-hyun.
Hwang Min-hyun filled about two hours with the stage fans had been waiting for. He opened Dohwawon with the solo song "Universe (the language of the stars)" and showcased his all‑around abilities by moving between sensory performances and gentle ballads such as "Namu (I only look at you 2)", "Perfect Type", and "Every Night to You".
The "Dohwawon: Persona" corner, which revealed Hwang Min-hyun's diverse charms, drew an explosive reaction. He performed challenges that dominated social media, including TWS's "Angtal" challenge, as well as the "NOT CUTE ANYMORE" and "Soda Pop" challenges, eliciting cheers from fans. A dance medley that tied together "Energetic", "INSIDE OUT", "I'm in Trouble", and "NEVER" was a special gift for fans who had been waiting for Hwang Min-hyun's dazzling performance.
Especially near the end of the show, an unreleased new song, "Truth," was performed, captivating fans' eyes and ears. Hwang Min-hyun's clean vocal tone and heartfelt lyrics toward Hwangdo blended to bring deep emotion. He said, "Even if everyday life is tiring and hard, the fact that we are together does not change," and added, "I am grateful to the fans who waited for today as much as I did. Like a childhood best friend, being with Hwangdo is always fun and enjoyable. I will live harder so I can keep my promise to make you happy."
Hwang Min-hyun will move to Japan on the 3rd and 4th of next month to hold fan meetings three times at Tokyo International Forum Hall. He will also kick off his acting activities through the TVING original series "Study Group" season 2 (directed by Lee Jang-hoon, written by Kit Project, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by YLAB). Having received praise for renewing his "role of a lifetime" when he played Yoon Ga-min in season 1, expectations are high for the new side of him that he will show.
