Former Big Bang singer and actor T.O.P is releasing a solo song for the first time in 13 years, and Nana will lend support by appearing in the music video.
On the 9th, Nana's agency Sublime told OSEN, "It is true that Nana will appear in T.O.P's solo music video," as an official position. It was reported that the representative who handles T.O.P's management used to be Nana's manager.
It has been confirmed that Nana has already finished filming. Nana took the lead role in a music video for the first time in two years since appearing in Baek Z Young's "Yeah, That's Right" music video in 2024. This is the first time Nana and T.O.P have worked together.
Last month T.O.P posted on his personal social media, "A new album is on the way (A NEW ALBUM IS ON THE WAY)." It is a new song released 13 years after "Doom Dada," which was released in November 2013.
T.O.P, who debuted with Big Bang in 2006 and received much love, was sentenced in 2016 to 20 months in prison with a two-year suspended sentence on charges of smoking marijuana. After that, T.O.P ended activities with "spring, summer, fall, winter" and his exclusive contract with YG Entertainment also ended, and the following year he left the group.
While in self-reflection, T.O.P announced his return by appearing as Thanos in the Netflix series "Squid Game season 2," released in 2024, and regarding a Big Bang comeback he drew a line, saying, "I thought 'spring, summer, fall, winter' was the last project," "seeing that fans still want a reunion and hold out hope made me not so much angry as unable to have that feeling and it hurt my heart," and "I feel guilty toward the members and think I will have to live with that apology forever."
