On the 8th, Yoon Son-ha posted on her social media, "Whenever we meet we're always this excited. Even though we live in the same Vancouver, we don't see each other often, but when we meet it feels like we saw each other yesterday and the world is this joyful again," and uploaded several photos and a long post.
She added, "It was a very long time ago, but sometimes… Hyeyeun unni is the only one here with whom I can share those subtle feelings that make me think, 'Ah, I used to be an actress.' A senior actress and a life mentor, and an unni from whom I have so much to learn — I really like her," expressing nostalgia for her acting days. Sitting beside Yoon Son-ha was actress Lee Hye-eun.
Yoon Son-ha wrote, "Taking selfies, we said, 'We used to take a lot of these back in the day…,' 'Why is this so awkward?' then laughed for a long time. I can't live. We laughed, grew serious, felt warm, and laughed again," adding, "The concept for the day was sky blue. As if we had agreed, our clothes were the same color. The sky I looked up at on the way around was a pale sky blue. It was a day that made my heart feel soft."

In 2017, Yoon Son-ha halted her activities and left for Canada after her son became embroiled in a school violence controversy. At the time, SBS '8 News' reported that at an elementary school training event in Seoul a child who had been assaulted by four classmates was diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis and post-traumatic stress disorder, but the perpetrator students, who included the grandson of a chaebol chairman and the son of a famous entertainer, were not punished, which caused an uproar.
Later, Yoon Son-ha's son was identified as the "son of a famous entertainer," and Yoon Son-ha said the news coverage was distorted. But as the controversy grew, she issued an apology through her agency at the time, saying, "I bow my head in apology to the injured child and his family, and to the school and many others regarding the series of incidents that occurred at our child's school training event."
