EXO will once again showcase their distinctive variety skills with original content released today (the 8th).
The two-part "Crown to the Throne" is a variety-style original program based on the concept of EXO's eighth studio album title track "Crown," depicting the process of choosing the one member who will sit on the "EXO Planet" throne, and the first episode will be available on EXO's official YouTube channel at 10 p.m. on the 8th.
In this content, EXO will take on five games that prove the qualities of a king — mix music quiz, relay drawing, consonant quiz with a blade, tactile play, and sticky challenge — showing serious competitiveness and delightful chemistry, raising curiosity about who will ultimately wear the crown.
EXO includes members who flaunt their spirit with comments like "a king isn't claimed by age," members who are flustered by rules that suddenly appear on their turn, members who pay attention to trivial points saying "you should have left the pen cap open," members who score with unexpected standout performances, and members who deliver strong blocking comments; while each one burns with passion in their own style, they are also expected to capture attention with quirky moments where they unite and call for a retry.
Earlier, EXO proved their solid popularity and variety skills simultaneously through music shows where they achieved a five-crown grand slam, as well as various content such as Channel Fifteen Nights, Halmyeongsoo, Jeon Gwaja, Jipdaeseong, and Amazing Saturday, and attention is focused on this content and the reality variety show EXO's ladder travel around the world season 5, which premieres on March 4.
Meanwhile, EXO will open the curtain on their sixth solo concert tour EXO PLANET #6 - EXhOrizon at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Seoul from April 10 to 12, and ticket reservations will proceed with fan club presales on Feb. 12 and general sales on Feb. 13 via Melon Ticket.
