In the released video, Ha Jung-woo mentioned his father Kim Yong-gun's late-in-life birth and his younger sibling's birth of a son. He said, "He has maintained an incredible youth and energy, so he even had a late-in-life child. I thought it was a blessing, and on the other hand I felt pressure."
Earlier, Ha Jung-woo's father Kim Yong-gun had a late-in-life son in November 2021 with a girlfriend 39 years his junior. The two had a child out of wedlock, which drew further attention.

Cha Jung-won's agency Saram Entertainment also issued an official statement saying, "Actress Cha Jung-won is currently dating actor Ha Jung-woo. However, the marriage rumors are groundless."
