Comedian Kim Jun-Ho confessed to having ptosis surgery and for the first time revealed his before-and-after appearance.
On the 7th, the MBN program Kim Ju-ha's Day & Night featured comedians Kim Jun-Ho and Shim Hyung-rae as guests, where they shared candid stories.
On that broadcast, the recent condition of Shim Hyung-rae, who recently underwent a facelift, became a hot topic. When a photo was revealed showing him with bandages and a swollen face, the cast could not hide their surprise. Shim Hyung-rae explained the reason he decided to have the surgery, saying, "I have to appear as the 'Young-gu' character on my YouTube channel, but no matter how much makeup I put on, my old face doesn't come out," and "Young-gu shouldn't have nasolabial folds and the face should be tight."
He added, "I wanted to properly show viewers the old Young-gu's appearance," and "I met someone who is really good at lift surgery and even fixed the neck wrinkles," and revealed a more firm appearance after the surgery.
Watching this, Kim Jun-Ho also shared his own experience. He said, "I also had ptosis surgery," drawing the studio's attention. Kim Jun-Ho said, "Because I use my facial muscles a lot doing comedy acting, wrinkles form faster," and "I originally didn't have double eyelids, but at some point my eyes drooped so much that double eyelids formed."
He also said, "Continuing facial gags made my eyes very fatigued, and the area around my eyes quickly became wrinkled," and added, "I had eyebrow fat removal 10 years ago, and afterward I had a slight correction for ptosis under the brow." Through that broadcast, Kim Jun-Ho revealed his before-and-after surgery appearance, showing a clear change that drew laughter.
Meanwhile, Kim Jun-Ho was born in 1975 and turned 50 this year. He debuted in the entertainment industry as part of SBS's 1966 fifth public recruiting class, and in July 2025 he remarried comedian junior Kim Ji-min.<
