Actor Lee Sang-yoon shared candid stories about his home's interior along with his residence with a Han River Police view.
On the 7th, the MBC variety show Omniscient Interfering View (hereinafter "Omniscient Interfering View") depicted the daily life of Seoul National University alumnus and actor Lee Sang-yoon. His home revealed through the broadcast drew attention with a view of the Han River Police and a calm atmosphere.
What particularly caught the eye inside the house was the bedroom's comforter. When the MCs said, "Your taste in comforters seems like an elder's," Lee Sang-yoon laughed and explained, "My mother went on a trip to Chiang Mai with her aunts and changed it even though I didn't want her to, and left it."
The study filled with books also attracted interest. The study neatly displayed books including The Essentials of Mathematics, college major textbooks from his university days, books in the humanities and social sciences, and world classics. Also noticeable were scripts from completed filming projects and the Seoul National University alumni association newspaper. To this, Lee Sang-yoon said, "I can't easily throw away things that hold memories."
When asked about the home's interior, Lee Sang-yoon said, "My father works in architecture," and noted, "I asked him and he took charge of the interior." Hearing this, the MCs expressed envy, saying, "Then it probably didn't cost much."
But Lee Sang-yoon honestly confessed some regrets about the interior. He said, "I think my father is a good architect, but there is inevitably a difference in aesthetic sense due to the generation gap," and added, "He wanted to do it so he took charge, but living in it, there are some parts that are a bit regrettable."
He specifically said about the lighting, "I wanted indirect lighting, but my father recommended a typical method citing efficiency and structure," and added, "In the end, I made the basic choice."
Meanwhile, Lee Sang-yoon, a Seoul National University physics alumnus and actor, has continued to work steadily with an intellectual image and reliable acting skills.
