Okdal's Kim Yoon-joo set out to get Jay Park's number.
On the 8th episode of KBS 2TV's 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears', Kim Yoon-joo was shown meeting Jay Park to produce Yozoh's album.
That day Kim Yoon-joo visited singer Yozoh's 'Bookshop Musa', which Yozoh has run for more than 10 years. She said, "She is an incredible writer who has written as many as 12 books. Recently I even saw Park Jeongmin come by on SNS," beginning to speak. Park Jeongmin not only ran the bookstore for a day but also led book talks. Kim Yoon-joo worried about Yozoh, who has not released an album in more than four years, and Park Myung Soo candidly said, "If I'm lacking, go to another company. Rather than being a burden to each other, let's have a beautiful farewell."
Yozoh lamented, "My father watched the broadcast and was so happy. He said, 'This is how a child should behave.' Delicious food and nice places are useless. Appearing on TV once is the best way to show filial piety."
Yozoh, who debuted in 2007, is already a 20-year singer. Jang Deul-le recalled, "If you had an alarm bell on your cellphone, 'Honey Honey Baby' was preinstalled there," and Yozoh remembered, "When I was riding the village bus, I could hear 'Honey Honey Baby~' from behind me," reminiscing. In addition, 'I like you' was beloved as a minihomepage BGM, and she was active on drama OSTs with songs such as 'I told you'. Jun Hyun-moo confessed, "I really liked Yozoh's song 'Banana Party'."
Kim Yoon-joo said, "When I debuted as Okdal, there were three to four Hongdae goddesses. The temple was full," referring to Yozoh, Lady Jane and J Rabbit, who were called 'Hongdae goddesses' at the time. She laughed, "When a female artist appeared they were all called goddesses, but they didn't attach that to us. We just acted as Hongdae girls."
Kim Yoon-joo angrily recalled, "My sister was performing at a festival and there were too many men in front. Grr, this was supposed to express a goddess and it wouldn't make me upset, but she was so pretty and still is pretty, so I was furious."
Despite that, Kim Yoon-joo said she can no longer wait for Yozoh. Jang Deul-le suggested, "These days it seems people build synergy through collaborations; you collaborated with Park Jeongmin and Hwasa. How about finding a famous person who could collaborate with Yozoh?"
Hearing this, Kim Sook proposed, "Wouldn't Park Myung Soo oppa be okay?" and Park Myung Soo retorted, "yososu". Kim Yoon-joo suggested, "I really like Choi Baek-ho," and made direct contact herself.
When asked about his recent status, Choi Baek-ho said, "I'm having a concert this Saturday. Don't come," and, "Let's see each other when things calm down after it's over." Kim Yoon-joo explained she didn't even propose the idea because she was worried it might confuse his concert preparations.
