KARD member Jeon Ji-woo opens the door to a music world with no exit.
Jeon Ji-woo at 12 a.m. today (8th) uploaded a Highlight medley of her first EP '(EX)IST' on KARD's official YouTube channel.
(EX)IST includes a total of five highly polished tracks, raising expectations: the title track 'Home Sweet Home', 'Mutual', 'Dang Dong (feat. BM of KARD)', 'Lily', and 'Home Sweet Home (Inst.)'.
According to this, '(EX)IST' contains a variety of genres, previewing Jeon Ji-woo's inescapable charm: 'Mutual', a dance-pop track where lively synths and dreamy plucks harmonize; 'Dang Dong (feat. BM of KARD)', an uptempo New Jersey-style track blending an addictive bass line with funky synth sounds; 'Lily', which showcases Jeon Ji-woo's vocals over warm guitar riffs, restrained rhythms and a sweet piano melody; and 'Home Sweet Home (Inst.)', the instrumental track of the title song.
In particular, the title track 'Home Sweet Home' crosses the boundary between R&B and alternative pop. Jeon Ji-woo's voice, layered like a single instrument over a rhythmic bridge, is expected to awaken listeners' honest instincts.
The solo EP '(EX)IST' is an album in which Jeon Ji-woo starts from the past and declares a new beginning as a solo artist based on the experience she has accumulated. Jeon Ji-woo said she participated directly not only in the recording of the tracks but in the overall album production, determined to show a more evolved musical capability.
Jeon Ji-woo's first EP '(EX)IST' will be released on various online music sites at 6 p.m. on the 11th.
