Kim Jun-Ho unleashed a burst of joyful laughter on Saturday night.
On the 11th episode of MBN's "Kim Joo-Ha's Day & Night," which aired on the 7th, Kim Jun-Ho appeared and made the studio buzz with his witty talk.
That day Kim Jun-Ho confessed the background for undergoing ptosis surgery. He said, "Because I make a lot of comedic facial expressions, I use my facial muscles a lot and wrinkles form quickly," which drew laughter. In response to Kim Joo-Ha's question about cosmetic surgery, he said, "I have a wife who is nine years younger, so I have to match her," revealing he is the comedy world's representative romantic and adding warmth.
A conversation followed about the married life of Kim Jun-Ho and Kim Ji-Min. Faced with allegations that his marriage to Kim Ji-Min was "for the show," Kim Jun-Ho surprised everyone with the remark, "I admit some of it." He said, "My everyday life is loving Kim Ji-Min, and seeing that may have made viewers feel fatigued," proving he is a romantic.
Kim Jun-Ho also revealed an unexpected reason he started comedy. He said he did theater in high school and explained the candid reason he dreamed of becoming an entertainer: "When I was a little funny up front, I got a lot of invitations to meet people."
He also revealed the backstory of the creation of the legendary corner "Gatgido." He recounted going to a supermarket with comedian Hong In-Kyu, and when the owner saw Hong In-Kyu, who has a youthful appearance, and said, "Not a child, not an adult, how strange," they put a rhythm to that line and used it, which became widely loved.
Kim Jun-Ho also expressed grand ambitions about film production. He said, "I want to try making a serious comedy film," and revealed that he has already worked on an actual script and synopsis, surprising everyone. Finally, Kim Jun-Ho warmly closed by saying, "They say life is a comedy from afar and a tragedy up close, but after meeting Kim Ji-Min, even up close it turned into a comedy. I will become the comedy actor Kim Jun-Ho."
