Moon Sang Min, in Nam Ji-hyun's body, faces The Tyrant Ha Seok-jin alone.
In episode 12 of the KBS 2TV weekend miniseries To My Beloved Thief, which airs today (the 8th) (writer Lee Seon / director Ham Young-gul / produced by Studio Dragon), Dowoldae-gun I-yeol (Moon Sang Min), who has the appearance of Hong Eun-jo (played by Nam Ji-hyun), engages in a suffocating confrontation with King I-gyu (Ha Seok-jin).
So far, I-yeol, meeting Hong Eun-jo (Nam Ji-hyun), a female physician and gildo, for the first time began to see the world through the eyes of the common people. The plight of the desperate people whose lives are threatened for the king's hunting grounds and a child's words that his life is no different from an animal stirred both guilt and anger in I-yeol's heart.
But I-yeol had long promised his older brother I-gyu that he would live like a layabout without threatening the royal authority. Unable to break that vow, I-yeol tried to suppress his rising emotions, but as the continuing tyranny unfolded and he learned of movements to enthrone a new ruler, he fell into deeper confusion.
As curiosity rises over what choice I-yeol will make, released photos heighten interest by capturing I-yeol's life-or-death moment when he will confront I-gyu as Hong Eun-jo. I-gyu has summoned Hong Eun-jo, the daughter of Hong Min-jik (Kim Seok-hoon), for some reason.
Upon entering the hall, Hong Eun-jo (Moon Sang Min in) is struck with devastation and fury at the sight of injured gisaeng collapsed on the floor, while I-gyu sits on the bed with a calm expression, deepening the gravity of the situation.
Above all, I-yeol's heart will beat even more fiercely at I-gyu's inexplicable behavior of even summoning his beloved Eun-jo. No longer able to ignore all of this, I-yeol is expected to offer a final earnest warning to stop his brother's rampage.
Meanwhile, episode 11 of To My Beloved Thief, which aired on Saturday the 7th, portrayed Hong Eun-jo and I-yeol standing at crossroads as they faced the cause of the coup, delivering deep immersion. Episode 11 recorded a nationwide household rating of 6.8%, and the scene in which Hong Eun-jo and I-yeol reveal their soul-change to Daechu (Lee Seung-woo) recorded a peak minute rating of 7.5% (Nielsen Korea, nationwide households).
Whether Moon Sang Min's words will reach Ha Seok-jin's heart can be confirmed in episode 12 of the KBS 2TV weekend miniseries To My Beloved Thief, airing tonight (the 8th) at 9:20 p.m.
