Comedian Park Semi revealed her dramatically changed face after nasal surgery.
Park Semi recently openly disclosed on "Baekma TV," "I'll say this in advance. I had a revision nose surgery, so it might look unfamiliar now," admitting she had surgery.
A colleague beside her said, "Say a word to that person. To the person who, as soon as the first Baekma TV video went up, called you 'upturned-noseX,' say something to them," and Park Semi said, "At the start, after watching the Baekma TV video, someone DM'd me saying 'you're an upturned-nose cosmetic monsterX.' At that time my nose was very upturned. Now it's only been three weeks since the surgery so the swelling hasn't gone down, but I'll preemptively shoot down the malicious comments. It's not an upturned nose anymore," asking people not to leave malicious comments.
Kim Jin-ju asked, "Who do you think is the strongest comedian? Between Jang Ha-na and Park Semi?" and Park Semi said, "I lose," adding, "I don't have as much strength as before. I've also lost a lot of weight, and during the nose surgery they used my own rib cartilage, right? Now my whole body is twisted. Ear cartilage is in my nose, and rib is in my nose. That's why I can't exert strength. I don't have one rib," she confessed, prompting laughter.
Earlier, Park Semi also drew attention by frankly confessing to cosmetic surgery on YouTube channel "Im Seong-wook."
In the video, Im Seong-wook said, "Our (Park) Semi reportedly had her nose done again," explaining the reason filming was delayed.
In response, Park Semi said, "They say, 'Isn't she addicted to plastic surgery?' but you must be careful with surgery. Actually it's been 15 years since I had my nose done. Fifteen years after the nose surgery, the nose shortened and contracture occurred," explaining the background behind deciding on a revision surgery. She then revealed her pre-revision appearance and said, "How upturned was it?" which surprised the cast.
He also lightened the mood with his characteristic wit. Park Semi said, "I definitely earned money, but where did all my money go? I wondered why my money disappeared, and it was because of the nose. If the nostrils show, money leaks. I gripped my money tightly and blocked it like this," providing laughter.
Park Semi also revealed the revision nose surgery on her YouTube channel "Annyeong Semi." At the time she said, "Contracture came to my nose and it was so upturned that all the rain went into my nose and it was a disaster, so I had it done. Does that make you laugh?" conveying the seriousness of the situation.
When fellow comedian Lee Seon-min joked, "I think I could hang my hat on it," Park Semi said, "Not just a hat, you could hang a padded jacket. Why can you hang heavy things is because last time they used ear cartilage, but this time they used a rib," revealing, "They cut my rib and implanted it in my nose. This (nose) is my rib," which surprised viewers. She added, "I was so afraid to rest that even though the swelling hadn't gone down, I lived like this," capturing attention.
