"MZ wannabe icon" IVE (IVE: 안유진·가을·Ray·장원영·리즈·이서) is raising comeback excitement by releasing a teaser video for the new album's music video.
Starship Entertainment released the music video teaser for IVE's second full-length album Revive Plus (REVIVE+) pre-release track BANG BANG(뱅뱅) on its official SNS channels on the 6th.
The released teaser overwhelmed viewers at once with unprecedented scale, the members' dazzling visuals and powerful performances. In particular, this teaser adds freshness by moving away from the desolate desert image, a traditional element of the American West era, and using backgrounds that mix various colors and unexpected points. The abstract yet distinctive backgrounds embedded in an unreal tone and mood harmonize with IVE's unique atmosphere and complete a different sensibility for the new song, heightening interest in "BANG BANG."
Also, the western visuals, modernly reinterpreted using high contrast and VFX (visual effects), offer visual pleasure. The appearance of a modern police officer instead of a sheriff in the western, or the direction that shoots a spectacular flare instead of a pistol, maximizes the sensory atmosphere and piques curiosity about the full song and the full music video. IVE's powerful performance shown through the teaser also emits intense energy even in a short moment, raising expectations. The music video is expected to be a high-quality work directed by director Bang Jae-yeop, who has been loved for his tasteful visuals and original direction.
The pre-release track "BANG BANG" is the track that formally opens the curtain for the second full-length album. From an opening centered on EDM and electronic sounds to an intro using western swing, the song is characterized by straightforward beats and energy, conveying a self-determined message of not yielding to surrounding gazes or rumors but choosing for oneself and confidently forging ahead.
Meanwhile, IVE will release the pre-release track "BANG BANG" at 6 p.m. KST on the 9th ahead of the release of the second full-length album Revive Plus on the 23rd, and will begin music show activities.
