Actor Lee Yi-kyung, who has been embroiled in a private life rumor, will resume his entertainment activities.
On the 7th, OSEN reporting found that Lee Yi-kyung will appear as a special DJ on SBS PowerFM's "Two O'Clock Escape Cultwo Show" airing on the 12th.
Lee Yi-kyung is currently embroiled in a private life rumor. A woman identified herself as German, Ms. A, and on Oct. 20 released a conversation she had with Lee Yi-kyung. Ms. A alleged "I had sexual conversations with Lee Yi-kyung," and while exchanging messages via direct message, expressions implying sexual assault appeared, causing a major stir. Ms. A also revealed her main account and strongly insisted that her purpose was not money but to expose Lee Yi-kyung's character.
In response, Lee Yi-kyung's side said it would take a tough stance and continued its offensive by releasing tips about Ms. A, saying "there was no agreement of any kind." Lee Yi-kyung also said, "I went to give the complainant's statement for investigation and conveyed my position on the rumor. I completed the complaint procedures for threats and defamation by disseminating false information. Even if she is German, I will go to Germany to file a complaint."
Ms. A, who had continued exposing and retracting, claimed that she had continued conversations with Lee Yi-kyung in good spirits but that the messages gradually became sexual, and on Dec. 12 took strong measures by releasing the initial messages. In particular, on Dec. 31 last year she continued her exposés by releasing what appeared to be screenshots of Lee Yi-kyung's KakaoTalk profile and photos he had sent.
Lee Yi-kyung did not remain passive. After winning the "AAA best choice" category at the 10th Asia Artist Awards 2025 (AAA 2025), he showed confidence, saying "The suspect is currently sending apologies and requests for leniency to the company's email. I think we will catch them no matter what."
However, Lee Yi-kyung stepped down from entertainment programs such as "Hangout With Yoo" that he had been appearing on because of the private life rumor. He did not leave "I'm SOLO," "Fried and Stirred Travel," and "Brave Detective" and continued activities there, but there had been no additional entertainment appearances. Meanwhile, Lee Yi-kyung is scheduled to meet listeners as a special MC on the "Cultwo Show."
Meanwhile, SBS PowerFM's "Two O'Clock Escape Cultwo Show," where Lee Yi-kyung will serve as a special MC, airs every week from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
