BTS fills Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London and sets another new milestone.
Live Nation UK, a global concert promoter, said on the 6th on its official social media, "BTS's ARMY (ARMY, fandom name) has achieved the highest single-show seat capacity at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (BTS ARMY CREATE HIGHEST SINGLE SHOW CAPACITY AT SPURS)."
BTS will perform at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on July 6-7 and is expected to meet about 120,000 attendees over two days. A 360-degree stage that will deliver overwhelming immersion has been announced, providing a foundation for even more fans to participate.
BTS launches a large-scale world tour spanning 82 shows in 34 cities worldwide, starting April 9 at Goyang Sports Complex main stadium. Including the three Goyang shows whose ticket windows opened, all 41 North America and Europe shows sold out well in advance.
BTS will release their fifth full-length album ARIRANG at 1 p.m. on March 20. Also, on March 21, they will hold BTS comeback live: ARIRANG at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, and the stage will be broadcast live to about 190 countries and regions via Netflix.
BTS is already setting meaningful records. As of the 4th, ARIRANG ranked No. 1 on Spotify's Countdown Charts Global for three consecutive weeks by topping the global audio and music streaming platform's chart that tallies pre-save numbers for albums and singles ahead of release.
Their previous works continue to receive steady love. The music video for the title track of MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA, Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey), released in April 2019, surpassed 1.9 billion views on YouTube in January. It is the second to reach 1.9 billion views following Dynamite, which has already exceeded 2 billion views.
Also, the anthology album Proof's title track Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment) and Love Maze from the third full-length album LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear' surpassed 100 million and 50 million cumulative streams respectively as of last December, earning platinum and gold streaming certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
