Apink's Yoon Bomi and singer-producer Rado will get married and become husband and wife on May 16.
On the 7th, Yoon Bomi's agency Withus Entertainment told OSEN, "It is true that Yoon Bomi and Rado will hold their wedding at the Grand Hyatt Seoul on May 16."
Rado, as part of Black Eyed Pilseung, composed Apink's "1do eopseo" (Not Even One), "%%(eung eung)", "Dumdeoreom" and others. Yoon Bomi and Rado first connected while working on Apink's third full-length album title track "Naega seolrel su itge" (So I Can Be Excited) in 2016, developed into a romantic relationship from 2017, and acknowledged their dating in April 2024, continuing their public relationship. Then, last December, after eight years of dating, they announced their wedding and received many congratulations.
At the time, both sides said, "We will tie the knot in May next year." However, specific dates and locations were not revealed. Meanwhile, news that the two will hold their wedding at the Grand Hyatt Seoul on May 16 has drawn attention. The Grand Hyatt Seoul is the venue where many star couples such as Lee Byung-hun and Lee Min-jung, Lee Gyu-hyeok and Son Dam-bi, and director Kim Byung-woo and Ham Eunjung held their weddings, adding to expectations.
Meanwhile, at the time of the wedding announcement, Yoon Bomi posted a handwritten letter on the fan cafe and greeted, "I have decided to spend the rest of my life with someone who has been by my side for a long time, sharing daily life, staying with me in joyful times and when I was shaken. I did not expect to share this news this way, but I wanted to be the first to tell my longtime friends, the Pandas, about my feelings. As always, I will continue to live responsibly in my place and become stronger. And as Apink and as Yoon Bomi, I will repay the Pandas with better activities. Thank you. I am always grateful, truly very grateful."
