Actor Park Hae-jun revealed behind-the-scenes stories of his appearance in the talked-about drama 'The World of the Married'.
On the 6th, a video titled 'Park Hae-jun who does everything without hesitation even when things go wrong' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Yuin Radio'.
Park Hae-jun left an unforgettable line 'sappa joeya' in 'The World of the Married' and was called Lee Tae-oh for a while. However, he said he had been offered and declined the role of Lee Tae-oh in 'The World of the Married' in the past, drawing attention.
Park Hae-jun said, "After watching the original 'Doctor Foster,' I thought the original was so well made that, unlike other villains, it would be a role that would receive a lot of criticism, so I think I worried a lot," and added, "There was also the feeling that people might not be able to get it out of their memories, so I thought, 'Maybe I should try another work.'"
Yuinna asked, "So what made you decide?" and Park Hae-jun recalled, "My wife asked why I wouldn't do it. And then director Byun Young-joo said she was joining the project. I remember her saying, 'Are you free for a moment?'"
In particular, he said, "I called thinking that if I could do that work I should refuse 'The World of the Married' and I was scolded," and confessed, "(Director Byun Young-joo) said, 'Hey, Kim Hee-ae is acting in it, why wouldn't you do it?' I was scolded and said, 'I'll do it.' I'm the type to believe what others say," drawing laughter.
Contrary to worries, Park Hae-jun embodied Lee Tae-oh perfectly and left memorable lines. Even now those lines are still recalled. Yuinna asked, "How did you do it so well?" and asked him to reenact it.
Park Hae-jun immediately empathized and performed with detailed acting to perfection. Impressed, Yuinna asked, "But I was really curious about this: you said you didn't realize it was such a harsh line when you saw it in the script and before you acted, right?"
Park Hae-jun said, "Isn't it different depending on the situation? 'Falling in true love' is such a beautiful phrase," and added, "But using it in that situation is a bit off, right?" He also joked, "If it were an innocent Lee Tae-oh? He could say it."
