'Gen Z美 (Gen Z beauty)' group KiiiKiii appeared at a mysterious crime scene?!
Kakao Entertainment's global K-pop leading media 1theK is teaming up with KiiiKiii (Jiyu·Isol·Suyi·Ha-eum·Kiya) to produce and present a special original mystery variety show 'KiiiKiii MYSTERY CLUB' (KiiiKiii mystery club). It is scheduled to be released on the 1theK channel over two weeks on Feb. 6 and 13.
'KiiiKiii mystery club' is a mystery variety show in which the members are dispatched to an unidentified crime scene to find clues and uncover mysteries. The KiiiKiii members, who overwhelmed audiences with intense performances on stage, will show their real-life main-character charms unfiltered as they clumsily struggle to solve the case.
In episode 1, released on Feb. 6, viewers will see the KiiiKiii members invited to a company, gathering with excitement. Their brief enjoyment of exploring the unfamiliar environment is cut short when they open an office door and find the company's CEO already dead. With a scream, the scene instantly turns into a crime scene, and the group transforms into an investigative team tracking a mysterious case full of questions. Putting aside their shock and embarrassment, the KiiiKiii members begin to activate their 'investigation radar' in their own ways.
The KiiiKiii members consider people close to the CEO—such as the secretary who had the most direct contact with the CEO and the head of the CEO's direct TF team—as suspects, and begin to investigate their alibis one by one. They comb every part of the company, from employee offices to conference rooms, narrowing down suspects with endearingly clumsy deductive skills. The members' five distinct personalities and rapid-fire chemistry provide nonstop immersion, delivering a variety of entertainment that alternates between laughter and tension.
Above all, the viewing highlight of 'KiiiKiii mystery club' is the five members' real characters shining through. Team leader Jiyu uses her characteristic caution and composure to find clues and solve problems at crucial moments. Curious prodigy Isol transforms into the eldest-sister-type 'question-mark assassin,' ruthlessly picking apart the case's gaps. Suyi plays the candy role, smoothly shifting the tense atmosphere at the investigation site, and Ha-eum, who is unusually easily frightened, plays a major role in solving the case. The quirky, action-leader Kiya, a mystery-show enthusiast who rambles here and there, together create unique fun with strong personalities.
