Choi Gyuri is playing Baek Se-yeon, a public relations team member at BS Food, in tvN's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Our Universe' (directors Lee Hyun-seok·Jeong Yeo-jin, writers Sujin·Shin I-hyun, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Scene & Studio Co., Ltd.), showing exceptional versatility. In particular, Choi Gyuri's striking features, bright and positive personality, and confident charm boast a perfect sync with the Se-yeon character.
Se-yeon strongly asserts her presence as 'Baek captain' (a portmanteau of Baek Se-yeon and Hong captain), who inevitably appears whenever something happens to Woo Hyun-jin (played by Roh Jeong-Eui). In episodes 1 and 2 broadcast on the 4th and 5th, Se-yeon immediately hugged Hyun-jin, who was keeping her sister's wake, offering sincere comfort, and stayed by Hyun-jin's side to be a reliable support. In particular, she not only washed Hyun-jin's hair after Hyun-jin injured her arm, but in the scene where she helps care for Seon Woo-ju (played by Park Yu-ho), Se-yeon's loyalty and thoughtfulness exploded.
