On the 5th, the Korean Popular Music Awards selection committee (Chairperson Kim Gwang-hyun) released the list of nominees, and LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eun-chae)'s single album title track 'SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS)' was nominated in the "best k-pop song" institutional sector.
'SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS)' is an alternative funk pop song that compares LE SSERAFIM, which keeps lingering and coming to mind, to spaghetti stuck to it. Sakura and Heo Yunjin participated in the song's production.
The song's repetitive chorus and kitschy lyrics deliver strong addictiveness and have earned it much love from global music fans. Seven weeks after its release in October last year, it surpassed 100 million Spotify streams, and it set the group's highest rankings on the U.S. Billboard "Hot 100" (No. 50) and the U.K. "Official Singles Top 100" (No. 46).
