Crying Nut's bassist Han Kyung-rok revealed his recent life and surprising daily routine after leaving Hongdae through I Live Alone.
On the 6th, the MBC entertainment program I Live Alone featured, as the second protagonist of the "Ride the rainbow horse" special, the day of Crying Nut member "Captain Rock" Han Kyung-rok, who is celebrating the band's 30th anniversary.
On the broadcast that day, Han Kyung-rok introduced himself, saying, "I've lived alone for 20 years," then drew attention by revealing a home atmosphere different from his intense rocker image. The space, filled with colorful lights and tasteful accessories, evoked an orderly and sentimental atmosphere, contrary to expectations that it would be rough.
His long history of living in Hongdae was also revealed. Han Kyung-rok recalled, "I lived in Hongdae for about 20 years. Hongdae was my home ground," and, "Every day outside the house was really fun, like Las Vegas," he remembered. He added, "Counting my activities, I spent almost 30 years in Hongdae," and said, "Recently, I moved my residence to Goyang city with a bit of a voluntary exile feeling. It's been about seven months since the move."
Meanwhile, Han Kyung-rok was born in 1977 and turned 48 this year, and he is known in the Hongdae indie music scene for his wide network to the extent that a festival called "Kyung-rok Day" is held around his birthday on Feb. 11 each year. <
