'2026 D Awards' announced preliminary winners.
'The 2nd D Awards (D Awards with upick)' today (6th) revealed winners through its unique pre-award system, the 'Pre-Announcement,' raising anticipation for the main ceremony to be held on the 11th.
The honor of best tour, symbolizing K-pop in the world, went to ENHYPEN, the leading act of the world tour 'Walk the Line.' The best recording, awarded to albums that achieved high completion and artistry, went to P1Harmony's album 'DUH!' and BOYNEXTDOOR's 'The Action (The Action)'.
The best song, given to songs that received great public love last year, were NCT WISH's 'poppop' and IZNA's 'SIGN.' NCT WISH was named the first recipient of best social contents, awarded to artists who led trends represented by today's challenges emphasizing communication with fandoms and the public through social media.
The best stage, supporting artists who showed overwhelming performances on stage, went to Psycus and NEXG. The best group, selecting two teams each for men and women, included ENHYPEN·BOYNEXTDOOR·NMIXX·IZNA.
ZEROBASEONE won best video with 'ICONIK,' and 'Backpacker,' a track included on 'Study Group' sung by members Matthew and Geonwook, received best O.S.T.
The best choreography, the core of K-pop for dance, was awarded to Fifty Fifty for 'Pookie,' which sparked last year's so-called 'fishing dance' syndrome. The best band award went to QWER for the second consecutive year. The D Awards Breakthrough, corresponding to a 'growth award,' was seized by 82MAJOR. The D Awards discovery 'Discovery of the Year,' supporting artists who became powerful growth engines for K-pop through notable activities, selected Hi-Fi Unicorn·Nine·AMP·Choi Rib-woo respectively.
Artists who were able to hold the D Awards' signature trophy 'D Cube (D CUBE)' in advance through the pre-awards expressed deep thanks in their acceptance remarks to their agencies' members and music production staff who gave generous support and above all to their fandoms. Acceptance remarks from winners of the best categories and the D Awards discovery are being released sequentially as videos on the D Awards official SNS and Sports Donga's official YouTube starting the afternoon of the 5th.
The 2nd D Awards, hosted by Sports Donga, will be held at 6 p.m. on Feb. 11 at Hwa-jeong Gymnasium, Korea University, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. It will be broadcast live on Channel A Plus and delayed on Channel A at midnight the same day.<
