45-year-old Lee Jung Hyun passed on the secret to youthful skin.
On the 6th episode of KBS 2TV Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant (hereafter "Fun-Staurant"), Lee Jung Hyun revealed her morning skincare routine that keeps her dazzlingly youthful beauty. In the process, Lee Jung Hyun's "bare face"—having not even washed her face upon waking—was revealed, and she drew attention by showing a level of makeup-free beauty that was hard to believe.
In the VCR shown that day, Lee Jung Hyun headed to the sink as soon as she woke up. Though completely bare-faced, Lee Jung Hyun's porcelain skin shone so brightly that viewers involuntarily exclaimed, "That beauty is unfair!" MC Hyojeong was also surprised, asking, "You really just woke up, right?"
Since her first appearance on Fun-Staurant in 2019, Lee Jung Hyun attracted attention for her youthful looks and fair skin. Lee Jung Hyun said, "Many people usually ask me about my skincare routine," and revealed her personal morning skincare routine for the first time on the broadcast.
She starts with a light water wash, using a gentle cleansing foam. She said she applies essence first when her skin is dry. Lee Jung Hyun explained, "If you put toner on and then essence, isn't that wasteful? I apply the concentrated products first." After applying baby cream (Seowoo cream), she began applying sunscreen.
Lee Jung Hyun said, "I always apply sunscreen up to my neck as soon as I wake up. That way the neck won't age. The color tone is different too. You have to apply it up to the neck," and advised, "These days it's dry, so I carry a moisturizing cream and reapply it. Sunscreen also lasts 3 to 4 hours, so you have to keep reapplying it."
After basic care, Lee Jung Hyun said, "I've been doing this since I was 19," and rubbed her face vigorously with a teacup she drank from. Everyone was shocked by Lee Jung Hyun's odd behavior, and she recommended her method again, saying, "When I went on overseas performances I even carried a celadon teacup. But nothing compares to this. Korea's blunt ceramics are the best. When I was young I used to massage with this a lot," drawing attention.
