Group Epik High showcased a delightful chemistry and brought laughter.
Epik High released a video titled "Tookcut's house had a stalker ft. Western-style pork cutlet" on their official YouTube channel "EPIKASE" on the 5th.
In the video, Epik High visited Munbae-dong in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, where mega-hit songs "Umbrella" and "ONE" were born, and they stopped by their regular Western-style pork cutlet restaurant. Tablo was skeptical about calling it Tookcut's favorite restaurant but felt reassured when he heard Missra also comes often, and the three ordered from the menu and talked.
Tookcut recounted an "unknown intruder incident" that had happened at his house. When Tablo asked whether he caught the culprit, Tookcut said "I caught them," pushing the resemblance to Missra. In response, Missra continued the skit saying, "I went to the police station a few days ago," and Tablo added, "I was practicing to be Santa Claus but Tookcut reported it. So Missra was in jail and got out, and I ran away quickly," showing a fantastic rapid-fire talk exchange.
After finishing their meal, they discussed new slang. When asked how people these days would say "has force," Epik High, at a loss for words, called Tablo's daughter Haru. Haru, explaining the expression for "cool" used among peers, became Epik High's "slang teacher," and Epik High created their own language while giving each other feedback.
Meanwhile, suspicions about Tablo's connections were also raised. While sending a love call to G-Dragon to appear on "EPIKASE," Tablo said, "I have spoken with Jiyong," and Tookcut wondered, "Would that really be the real G-Dragon?" and "Would the RM you've called really be the real RM?" Tablo could not hide his doubts about who he had spoken with and expressed concern about advances in AI technology, prompting more laughter.
Meanwhile, through "EPIKASE," Epik High is expanding their own content universe by playfully exploring generations, memory and relationships beyond music.
