Actor Park Hae-jun spoke about his family's realistic reactions as he rose to national father status with When Life Gives You Tangerines.
On the 6th, the YouTube channel 'Yuin Radio' posted a video titled 'Park Hae-jun who does everything without backing down when things go wrong.'
Park Hae-jun received national love last year for his role as Yang Gwan-sik in the Netflix series When Life Gives You Tangerines.
In real life Park Hae-jun, who is a father of two sons, was asked how his family reacted and said, "My parents said they were proud. Friends around me praise, 'Gwan-sik did so well.'"
He added, "Many people watched and contacted me, but I think this is the first time they've had such a good reaction. After this work, my parents said, 'You have fulfilled your filial duty.'" and said, "Rather, after this work ended I felt I should be more filial to my parents."
Then Yuin-na asked, "Did your two sons watch it too?" Park Hae-jun said, "My kids couldn't watch more than 30 minutes. While watching they start calculating time. They ask, 'Can I watch what I want instead of this?' so I just told them to watch it later, watch it slowly later," which drew laughter.
He said he set a TV time limit for his two sons and joked, "I can't write that here because they would..."
