The group ENHYPEN's five-year journey is unfolding as an experiential exhibition dressed in cutting-edge technology.
According to HYBE JAPAN on the 5th, the music experience exhibition following ENHYPEN (Jeongwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, NI-KI)'s footsteps, 'House of Vampire ~Dive into ENHYPEN Chronicle~' (hereinafter 'House of Vampire') will be held from today (the 5th) through March 16 at Sumitomo Hall in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. The exhibition, which drew explosive interest from local fans even at the ticketing stage, was packed with ENGENEs (the fandom name) and enjoyed great success as soon as it opened.
As the subtitle 'Dive into ENHYPEN's chronicle' suggests, this exhibition focuses on providing visitors with an overwhelming sense of immersion as if they are falling into the group's narrative. Beyond simple viewing, it leads visitors into the heart of ENHYPEN's distinctive vampire narrative and dark fantasy music world through synesthetic experiences that feel like enjoying an amusement park attraction. In particular, the members' delicate vampire acting, never seen before, is expected to maximize visitor satisfaction.
This exhibition features interactive elements where the ending changes according to visitors' choices; differentiated visuals of ENHYPEN that can be encountered through newly released content; and spatial production that concentrates the advanced technologies of global corporations such as Sony and Hibino.
Visitors receive an invitation at the exhibition entrance under the premise that they have become 'bats (a bloodline like vampires)' and enter the mansion. From the debut album 'BORDER : DAY ONE' to the full-length second album repackage 'ROMANCE : UNTOLD -daydream-', visitors pass through theme rooms for each album and encounter unique productions that make them forget reality. Hidden devices throughout, such as special effects that make you feel transformed into a bat upon entry and photo spots where the image is inverted when using flash photography, add novel fun.
The technical completeness is also overwhelming. A large indoor screen 10 meters wide and 5 meters high creates a vividness that makes the members seem to be physically present before your eyes. Added to this is 8K ultra-high-definition stereo filming technology that even calculates the distance between human pupils, enabling a 'surreal' experience in which real space and three-dimensional video blend without boundaries.
To commemorate the opening, flags promoting the exhibition will decorate the streets of Shin-Okubo shopping district (Okubo Street), Tokyo's representative Korean wave street, through the 12th. HYBE JAPAN plans to offer various pleasures to domestic and international fans through promotions linked to major commercial facilities in Shinjuku.
Lee Suhyun, head of HYBE JAPAN's music and video business division, who oversaw this project, said, "The core of this exhibition is a thorough 'sensory domination' experience," and added, "We aimed to create a new entertainment value never seen before by combining artist IP with cutting-edge technology."
