Choo Sung Hoon of 'Chagane' was flustered by Shizuoka's wild spiciness.
On the 5th, the tvN real gangsta sitcom Chagane aired an episode that depicted the Chagane organization's trip to Shizuoka, the holy land of wasabi, to expand their spicy-flavor business.
The members could not hide their curiosity when they saw the freshly harvested live wasabi. In particular, when told that not only the wasabi root but also the leaves can be eaten, Choo Sung Hoon showed interest by smelling them himself. Boldly tasting the wasabi leaves, Choo Sung Hoon let out an unexpected scream of "Howoo!" the moment he took a bite, causing the scene to burst into laughter.
When the members asked, "Is it spicy?", Choo Sung Hoon, as if trying to uphold a fighter's pride, stammered and showed obvious embarrassment, saying, "No, no. Spicy... oh wait, a little." He then seemed to regain his composure and explained, "It doesn't taste extremely spicy, but the wasabi flavor is definitely there," drawing attention.
What awaited the members after the harsh tasting was a camping site with a surprise charm. A quaint camper, an outdoor bathtub, and the carefully prepared "wasabi welcome food" for the members caught the eye.<
