Singer and producer MC MONG's prostitution allegations have flared up again.
On the 4th, TV CHOSUN's current affairs program "Shintongbangtong" addressed recent prostitution allegations against MC MONG based on material a media reporter disclosed via the YouTube channel "JiritJirit."
According to it, recently a suspicious woman was coming and going at the APT. where MC MONG lives, and residents reportedly reported, "It seems there is prostitution in the APT." In response to residents' complaints, the management office also checked CCTV, and in the process footage captured MC MONG boarding and exiting the elevator with several women as they went to his home.
Shintongbangtong said, "Of course, it is difficult to regard this video alone as proof of prostitution. However, it has been confirmed that such women went to MC MONG's home late at night."
Earlier, MC MONG was engulfed in prostitution allegations once in June last year. At the time, in connection with prostitution allegations raised against former The Boyz member Joo Hak-nyeon, claims were made that MC MONG was excluded from One Hundred's work because he was involved in prostitution. Meanwhile, CCTV footage showing MC MONG entering his home with a woman who works in an entertainment establishment was released, reigniting the prostitution allegations.
However, MC MONG reportedly told the reporter who covered the matter, "It was just a day when I ate with people I know and had a wine party." In response to a message saying, "Some are women from entertainment establishments," he reportedly replied, "Not everyone who works at bars engages in prostitution." But when the management office released the CCTV footage, it drew attention that MC MONG was claimed to have partially admitted it. Still, MC MONG has not yet delivered a clear position on the matter.
Meanwhile, MC MONG has recently faced allegations of an affair with Cha Ga-won, co-CEO of One Hundred and chairperson of p_Arc Group, but both sides denied it outright. Later, allegations arose that he had proxy-prescribed psychotropic drugs, but through the media he rebutted that "the recorded conversation was fabricated," while also saying, "Maybe I don't know either. I might have taken one or two pills," and, "I couldn't sleep and it was so hard that I might have taken leftover pills the manager had."
