'I'm SOLO' season 30 female contestants' dazzling credentials left all the Namsung contestants with their mouths agape.
On the 4th aired SBS variety show 'I'm SOLO - I'm SOLO' (hereafter 'I'm SOLO'), as the contestants themselves named it the 'egen-nam teto woman' special, remarkable jobs and unique hobbies appeared.
Youngsook, who captures attention with her distinctive speech, said, "I was born in 1991 and I live in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. My job is handling marketing at a foreign pharmaceutical company. I majored at Chung-Ang University College of Pharmacy and I'm a pharmacist," and added, "People often ask why a pharmacist does brand marketing. Feeling accomplishment in work is important. I feel I'm broadening my scope," surprising everyone.
He said, "If there's an advantage as a girlfriend, I memorize 100 English words a day and it takes me 30 minutes. There are very few days I miss that. I have done it for two years straight. Not only this, but in relationships my consistency prevents making the other person anxious," ending his rational yet concise appeal.
Jeongsook, who gives a cute impression but doesn't look easygoing, said, "I was born in 1993. I attended elementary, middle and high school in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and majored in law at Dankook University. I currently reside in Uijeongbu due to work. My job is a first for SoloNara," and, "I am a police officer belonging to the Korean National Police Agency in Gyeonggi Province," which surprised all the Namsung contestants.
Sunja said, "I was born in 1995. Last week I was 29, but I turned 30," revealing she is the youngest of Solo Nara. She said, "I was born in Ulsan and now live in Gwanak-gu, Seoul. I work on planning and developing products for an affiliate's health brand. My role is product manager," and added, "If I don't have overtime I usually box, and I also participate in community sports competitions every two weeks. I boast a record of 10 wins and 4 losses," showcasing her exceptional solidity and strength.
Oksun, known for her lovely smiling eyes, said, "I'm the third daughter among four sisters. My mother made me take dance to get me to exercise. I majored in dance and graduated from Sunhwa Arts Middle and High School and Ewha Womans University dance department," revealing she followed an elite path as a dancer but currently operates two pilates centers.
Yeongja, who caught the male contestants' attention, worked at an H Construction site. She said, "The reason I asked about long-distance or weekend-only marriages is that after site completion I have to go to another region. I don't know when or where I will have to go. There's a high possibility of going to the provinces, so there's no choice but to have long-distance or weekend-only marriage situations," revealing what could be her biggest weakness, but the men were won over by her cooking skills, including a Korean cuisine qualification, her sewing machine and hand-sewing skills, and hobbies like fishing and camping. Yeongja, who also has a home in Seoul, looked to have no lack.
Finally, Hyunsook introduced herself, "I obtained accountant qualifications in both the U.S. and Canada. It's been 10 years in terms of years, and I worked for about three years as a tax manager at an international accounting firm. Originally, Vancouver, Canada is my hometown and I have a home there."
