'Heart Signal 3' alum Seo Min-jae (real name Seo Eun-woo) fired back at her ex-boyfriend, who took legal action against her.
On the 5th, Seo Min-jae posted a photo of part of a document that appears to be a certified mail notice sent by her ex-boyfriend on her social account. The document refers to Seo Min-jae as the "debtor" and took issue with a post she published on Dec. 10 of last year.
At the time, Seo Min-jae posted a photo of her newborn child along with "Still looks like a monkey sometimes and like a steamed bun other times. Cheer up, the two of us ♥" Her ex-boyfriend's side said of this, "At first glance it appears that the debtor (Seo Min-jae) used her personal SNS to announce the birth of the baby and express her feelings, but it presumes that 'even though the baby was born, the creditor (the ex-boyfriend) disappeared/avoided contact without any communication, so the debtor must inevitably take full responsibility for the baby,' and thus should be evaluated as a post contrary to the provisional injunction," they noted.
Seeing this, Seo Min-jae reacted with "?" to show her bewilderment. She raised the question, "Setting aside that there's still no contact... Can't the baby (0 years old) and I try to do our best?"
Earlier, in May of last year, Seo Min-jae drew attention by posting accusations that her ex-boyfriend cut off contact after learning of her pregnancy. In the process she disclosed all personal information about the ex-boyfriend, including his workplace, and afterward the ex-boyfriend sued Seo Min-jae on charges of violating the law on punishment of stalking, violating the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation), and unlawful confinement and assault. Seo Min-jae denied those charges and warned of legal action against the ex-boyfriend's spreading of false information, and last December she reported that she had given birth to a son alone.
Meanwhile, Seo Min-jae became known after appearing on Channel A's dating show 'Heart Signal season 3' in 2020, and she is currently active as an influencer. In 2022 she posted a photo with Nam Tae-hyun, a former member of Winner, and wrote something like "philopon in there," then explained that "I lost my mind and took psychiatric medication in amounts greater than prescribed due to stress." However, she was reported on suspicion of drug use, underwent a police investigation, tested positive for methamphetamine, and was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year suspension of execution.
