Group XG (ExG) is making a global chart impact by entering the top 100 of the Billboard 200 chart.
XG on the 4th entered the U.S. Billboard main chart, the 'Billboard 200', at No. 93 with its first full-length album 'THE CORE - 核' (The Core - 核), marking a meaningful milestone as the first in the group's history to reach the top 100.
Earlier, XG demonstrated their growth potential when their second mini album released in 2024, 'AWE' (Awe), reached No. 175 on the 'Billboard 200' chart. Through this full-length album they achieved a step up by entering the top 100, expanding their musical spectrum while more clearly imprinting the group's identity of "evolution·change·creation".
The strong interest in the first full-length album was also proven across major charts worldwide. XG ranked No. 8 on the United States iTunes Top Albums chart, No. 9 on the Worldwide iTunes Album chart, and charted on the Apple Music Albums Top 200 in 68 countries and regions.
In addition, they showed a prominent presence across global music charts by reaching No. 5 on Billboard Japan Hot Albums, No. 1 on Billboard Japan Download Albums, No. 5 on the Oricon Weekly Album ranking, and No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Digital Album.
In particular, the album's lead single "HYPNOTIZE" is a house number that blends a fantastic sound with a rhythmical piano, offering a strong immersive experience that seems to cross the boundary between reality and dreams, and has received passionate love from listeners. The song proved its clear presence by ranking No. 1 on YouTube trending worldwide, and on Spotify "HYPNOTIZE" was included on the "New Music Friday" playlist in 43 countries and regions including the global playlist, setting its own best record.
The first full-length album 'THE CORE - 核' is a work that focuses on the origin of music and existence beyond trends or ornamentation.
