The group ONEUS will start anew at B-Wave Entertainment (B-Wave).
On the 5th, the newly established entertainment company B-Wave said, "After in-depth discussions with ONEUS members Seoho, Leedo, Gunhee, Hwanwoong and Sion, we signed exclusive contracts," and added, "We ask for much support and interest in ONEUS's journey with B-Wave."
They added, "Currently, various activities and schedules for ONEUS's single '原 (Won)' will be handled by RBW through the 20th and then transferred to B-Wave."
B-Wave has completed purchasing all IP related to ONEUS from their former company RBW, in accordance with the members' wishes. B-Wave plans to provide full support across music, broadcasting and performances so that there are no constraints or regrets in ONEUS's activities.
B-Wave CEO Koo Bon-young is a figure who served at FNC Entertainment Co. and RBW before founding the company. While he was employed, he was called "the artists' father" and took part in overseeing production for numerous K-pop artists, and among them he supported ONEUS's debut and various activities.
With this special connection, CEO Koo Bon-young and ONEUS will once again work together at B-Wave. CEO Koo is expected to support not only group activities but also the development of each member's individual potential as they embark on their future journey together.
ONEUS officially debuted in January 2019 with mini album 1 "LIGHT US." Known for conceptual and solid worldbuilding on every album, they gained great love with signature songs such as "Valkyrie," "Gaja," "The Sun Falls," and "A Song Written Easily," dazzlingly showcasing themselves as a representative fourth-generation performer.
Moreover, after making a distinct impression through Mnet's "Road to Kingdom" in 2020, ONEUS achieved their first music show win since debut with the Korea-colored "Wolha Miin," and they have steadily carried out world tours across North America, Asia and Europe, advancing globally.
Meanwhile, B-Wave, which signed an exclusive contract with ONEUS, officially launched in June last year, and H.O.T.'s Tony Ahn and producer R.Tee are also affiliated with the company.
