NCT Jisung carried out a meaningful act of charity on his birthday.
Jisung donated 250 million won to Samsung Medical Center on the 5th to mark his birthday. The donation will be used to support pancreatic cancer research.
Samsung Medical Center said it plans to use Jisung's generous gift to advance research on intractable diseases, including precision medicine research in the field of pancreatic cancer.
Jisung said "I have long been pained to see patients struggling with diseases that are difficult to treat. I hope this small contribution will help medical research so that many people can live happy lives without pain."
He added, "Above all, I was able to take part in this giving thanks to the love and support sent by Czennie (the fandom name), and I want to help create a warmer world in return for the love I received from the fans."
In March 2025, Jisung donated 50 million won to Community Chest of Korea to support victims of wildfires in the Yeongnam region, demonstrating his positive influence.
