Actor Kim Ji-hun has been confirmed to appear in the Coupang Play series "Now adultery is not the problem."
His agency BIG PICTURE E&T said on the 5th (today), "Actor Kim Ji-hun will appear in the Coupang Play series "Now adultery is not the problem." Kim Ji-hun, who has shown acting transformations that surpass limits in every work, is expected to once again demonstrate a strong presence."
The Coupang Play series "Now adultery is not the problem" (directed by Lee Chang-hee, written by Jung Eun-kyeong, Park Su-rin) is a runaway chain-collision black comedy in which a popular influencer couple who have sold the image of a happy family and a neighboring doctor couple embroiled in a mudslinging divorce suit become entangled in overwhelming secrets that make even adultery seem trivial.
Kim Ji-hun plays Jae-hong, the husband of Kyung-hee (played by Kim Hye-soo) and an actor living in the shadow of his successful wife. Kim Ji-hun, whose name alone adds credibility, is expected to firmly hold the center of the drama with an overwhelming presence as the characters' desires drive the narrative to extremes.
So far, Kim Ji-hun has proven a broad acting spectrum across genres such as drama and variety. Especially last year, he enjoyed a true heyday by consecutively appearing in many high-profile works, including the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "The Haunted Palace," the Amazon Prime series "Butterfly," the Netflix drama "Genie, Make a Wish," the TVING original "Dear X," the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama "Nice to Not Meet You," and the Netflix variety show "Crime Scene Zero."
Thanks to these activities, Kim Ji-hun won the 2025 SBS Drama Awards fantasy category male excellence award, the 45th Golden Camera Awards drama category best actor award, and the 2025 Seoul International Film Awards OTT category best actor award, and in January he won the "2026 Korea First Brand Awards" multitainer award, drawing attention as a representative actor of 2026.
Interest is growing in what kind of transformation Kim Ji-hun, who has shown a new side in every work, will present through "Now adultery is not the problem."
