Comedian Kim Ji-seon finally exploded in anger over the outlandish fake news directed at her second son.
On the 4th, a video featuring Kim Ji-seon and Lee Seong-mi was released on the YouTube channel "Yangnak 1st Street." That day the two candidly discussed the "YouTube fake news" surrounding celebrities.
Lee Seong-mi raised her voice, saying, "I'll put up with people making fun of celebrities. But when they touch children, it really makes me angry," and Kim Ji-seon also opened up about a recent experience.
Kim Ji-seon mentioned her second son Shiba (real name Kim Jeong-hoon). Shiba is active as a rapper, and last year a video on Sunwoo Yong-yeo's YouTube channel showing him with 17 piercings on his face drew attention.
Kim Ji-seon said calmly, "He's an adult and did it because he wanted to. Just because someone is a rapper doesn't mean they become famous overnight. Everyone goes through hard times."
The problem came after that. A YouTuber put up a sensational thumbnail reading "Kim Ji-seon ruined her child's upbringing." Seeing it, her son first said, "Mom, I'm sorry. I'm working hard...," she said.
Recalling the moment, Kim Ji-seon said, "He apologized first because he was afraid I'd be shocked," and "I couldn't let myself get teary in front of him, so I smiled and said, 'They must have wanted views. That's garbage talk. Mom doesn't care at all,'" adding, "But after he left, I got so angry," she candidly revealed.
Meanwhile, Shiba debuted and is active with the 2024 single "HAN: Cooked." Kim Ji-seon married in 2003 and has three sons and one daughter.<
