'Chagane' model Cha Seung-won and fighter Choo Sung Hoon showed a vicious give-and-take while being petty over a single "burnt dumpling."
On the 5th episode aired on tvN, the real gangsta sitcom Chagane depicted the Chagane organization's trip to Shizuoka, the mecca of wasabi, to expand its spicy-flavor business.
Scenes showed members returning to their Shizuoka lodging and preparing dinner. That day, as Choo Sung Hoon began frying dumplings, he affectionately back-hugged Cha Seung-won who was beside him and summoned a fateful embarrassing incident.
Choo Sung Hoon brought up the time during a business trip to Thailand when Cha Seung-won burned dumplings black while cooking, saying, "You failed there. They burned terribly and it was a mess," and began to really "scratch" at Cha Seung-won. At the time, looking at the pitch-black dumplings, Choo Sung Hoon criticized, "How do you eat this?" and scratched Cha Seung-won's cooking pride.
When the story about his sore spot, the "burnt dumpling," came up, Cha Seung-won immediately exploded. In his characteristically charismatic tone he shouted, "Be quiet, EC!" and turned the scene into a sea of laughter. He went on, "In tough times I put it in ramen, cut the burnt parts out with scissors and served it!" lamenting the unfair story of painstakingly cutting out the burnt parts to serve them.
