'In Your Radiant Season' released a second teaser video showing the changing relationship between Lee Sung-kyoung and Chae Jong Hyeop.
Scheduled to premiere at 9:50 p.m. on the 20th, MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama In Your Radiant Season (planned by Namgung Seong-woo, written by Jo Seong-hee, directed by Jeong Sang-hee and Kim Young-jae) is a story about a man named 'Chan' who lives every day like an exciting summer vacation and a woman named 'Ran' who has locked herself in winter, who meet as if by fate and awaken frozen time in an unpredictable 'radiant' romance.
The second teaser released today (the 4th) shows Song Ha-ran (Lee Sung-kyoung) and Seon Woo-chan (Chae Jong Hyeop), who meet again after seven years, and captures the changing relationship as they seep into each other's seasons, creating excitement.
The teaser centers on the fateful meeting of chief designer Song Ha-ran (Lee Sung-kyoung) and animator Seon Woo-chan (Chae Jong Hyeop), who will work together on a project. Standing close to Seon Woo-chan, Song Ha-ran cannot hide her embarrassment and rarely opens the door to her heart. Ha-ran draws a clear line, saying, "I don't want to create a variable," but Chan circles her and naturally closes the distance.
Seon Woo-chan's seemingly unconcerned approach and Song Ha-ran's attempt to maintain a solid defense form a contrast that further clarifies the relationship between the two characters. But Chan's unpretentious attitude and approach create even a tiny crack in Ha-ran's frozen heart.
At the same time, Seon Woo-chan calmly expresses his true feelings for Song Ha-ran, saying, "I wanted to let you know. That there is a way. I've stood alone in midwinter too." Then memories of Chan's past flash across the screen like fragments. After a mysterious accident, his time enduring a colder winter than anyone else reveals wounds hidden behind his current bright appearance, building the character's narrative more three-dimensionally.
In particular, Chan's proposal of a "three-month neighborhood friend trial" increases the excitement in a way befitting Seon Woo-chan, who lives every day like summer vacation. Ha-ran's gradual wavering as Chan approaches cautiously raises curiosity about how far the two people's relationship will go. Moreover, Ha-ran's brief line, "Is that still valid?", hints that his firmly stopped season has begun to move very slowly, announcing the full-scale start of the 'radiant' romance.
