Actor Kim Seon-ho's establishment of a single-person corporation prompted agency Fantagio to announce additional facts and an official position.
Fantagio said on the 4th in an official statement, "We will provide additional facts and our position regarding the single-person corporation of Kim Seon-ho recently reported in the media."
According to the agency, Kim Seon-ho established the corporation in January 2024 for acting activities and theater production, and for activities after the corporation's establishment and before signing a new exclusive contract with Fantagio in February 2025, settlement payments were received through that corporation.
However, Fantagio explained, "Kim Seon-ho recognized that the operation of the corporation itself could cause misunderstandings and then ceased operating the corporation," and "there have been no substantive activities through the corporation for more than a year recently."
It then drew a clear line regarding its contractual relationship with Fantagio. Fantagio emphasized, "Since signing the exclusive contract in February 2025, all settlement payments have been paid directly to the actor personally," and "the contract process and activities between Fantagio and Kim Seon-ho have no relation to the corporation."
Regarding the corporation's closure procedures, it said, "As a preemptive measure to correct his insufficient understanding of the corporation's operation at the time, Kim Seon-ho returned past corporate card usage records, family wages, and the corporate vehicle." It added, "For amounts previously settled through the corporation, in addition to the corporate tax already paid, personal income tax has been additionally paid in full, and the corporation closure procedures are underway with administrative procedures to be completed soon."
Kim Seon-ho also conveyed his position through the agency. He said, "I deeply reflect on establishing the corporation and maintaining it for about a year without fully understanding its operation," and offered an apology, saying, "I bow my head and apologize."
Fantagio also said, "We apologize for the confusion and concern caused," and added, "We will take all possible measures to more closely manage the overall activities of our contracted actors going forward."
Meanwhile, Kim Seon-ho was recently embroiled in allegations that he established a corporation separate from his agency to evade taxes.

Establishment and operation of the corporation
