A comeback work by comedian Park Na-rae, who halted activities, was released, but additional advertisements were deleted or made private due to allegations that have not yet been definitively explained.
On the 4th, OSEN confirmed that brands that had selected Park Na-rae as a model additionally made their advertisements private or deleted them.
Earlier, videos such as Samsung Electronics Galaxy S20, which was released in 2020, American Tourister, released in 2019, and Lotte ON were converted to private, while the beauty medical information app Babitok, mobile game Three Kingdoms Black Label, aphthous stomatitis treatment Albochil, beauty brand Hanskin, and spam blocking app Whowho deleted videos related to Park Na-rae.
The video currently only shows messages saying 'This video cannot be played' and 'This is a private video.' The exact reason these companies deleted or made Park Na-rae's advertisement videos private has not been revealed, but it is presumed to be the fallout from two months of allegations of power harassment and illegal medical procedures.
Former managers of Park Na-rae filed a property seizure application worth about 100 million won with the Seoul Western District Court on the 3rd of last month, claiming workplace harassment, proxy prescriptions, and unpaid production costs. They then filed a complaint with the Seoul Gangnam Police Station accusing Park Na-rae of special injury, defamation by false statements, and violation of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. In response, Park Na-rae filed a countercomplaint accusing her former managers of attempted extortion and then filed an additional complaint accusing them of embezzlement in the course of business.
After the controversy erupted and she halted activities, Park Na-rae is currently taking classes at an academy in central Seoul that teaches makgeolli brewing techniques. A man who is by Park Na-rae's side said, "Park Na-rae is currently going through a very difficult and emotionally trying time. To relieve that even a little, she carefully chose something she was interested in after thinking it through," and added, "Even in a lonely situation where Park Na-rae is alone, she is trying to overcome it. She is preparing to give very sincere testimony for parts where she will need to undergo police investigation in the future."
Amid cancellations of programs that he was scheduled to appear in or was filming due to the Park Na-rae controversy, a comeback work has been set. The Disney+ "Fate War 49," scheduled to be released on the 11th, is Park Na-rae's comeback work. Although Park Na-rae's image was not captured in the poster and trailer released together, she is expected to appear as one of several panelists.
