Former baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun and group member Jiyeon are showing completely different courses after their divorce, creating a curious contrast in tone. One openly mentioned "first love" and "remarriage" on YouTube, while the other quietly shared recent life updates through everyday photos.
On the 3rd, Jiyeon posted several photos on her SNS without any particular description.
In the released photos, she is seen calmly looking at the camera while having her makeup done, or showing clear features even in wide-angle shots. Her unchanged visuals stood out even in unadorned everyday cuts.
Fans left responses such as "I miss you so much," "You get prettier every time," and "How is this face in her mid-30s," expressing their delight.
Meanwhile, Hwang Jae-gyun recently appeared on the YouTube channel Zzanbro Shin Dong-yeob and opened up more frankly. That day he said, "I also married my first love," wearing a bitter expression, and when asked about remarriage he revealed his feelings by saying, "I love babies very much."
Even teammate Son Ah-seop, who appeared with him, said, "Hyunjin hyung is not a (broadcaster) killer but love. He married the person he likes." In response, Hwang Jae-gyun snapped back, "Wasn't I love?" and Son Ah-seop revealed relationship details, saying, "(The woman) keeps changing, so what kind of love is that." Later Hwang Jae-gyun even added a self-deprecating joking remark, "It feels like everything will be over once this video comes out," heating up the mood.
However, as personal topics such as "remarriage" and "plans for children" were repeatedly mentioned even after the divorce, some reacted that it might be a somewhat premature confession of his feelings.
The two married in December 2022 but agreed to divorce in 2024 after living apart due to differences in personality.
Since then, Jiyeon has continued activities with T-ara and communication with fans, and Hwang Jae-gyun is seeking a second path after retirement, including broadcasting and YouTube appearances.
