The group Monsta X (MONSTA X) opened the door to a new world tour with the presence of a more powerful full lineup.
Monsta X(Shownu·Minhyuk·Kihyun·Hyungwon·Jooheon·IM) held '2026 Monsta X World Tour 'The X : Nexus'' at Seoul KSPO Dome (formerly Gymnastics Arena) for three days from the 30th of last month to the 1st.
This concert was their first world tour in about four years since the '2022 Monsta X 'No Limit' tour in Seoul' held in 2022, and it gained added significance as their return to KSPO Dome about six months after '2025 Monsta X Connect X' held in July last year. In particular, it was a full-lineup performance with IM, who is due to enlist on the 9th, and the final day's performance was streamed live online through the global streaming platform Beyond LIVE, giving global Monbebe (the official fan club name) an even more unforgettable moment.
Opening with 'Dramarama (DRAMARAMA),' Monsta X showed the group's roots through a title track medley that continued with 'Love Killa' and 'Rush Hour.' They then unleashed relentless performances from the start through 'Lone Ranger' and 'Catch Me Now,' radiating exceptional energy.
They reversed the mood with the 'Middle of the Night (MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT)' stage and completed their narrative more thoroughly with member-focused performances that highlighted their musical abilities through 'Deny,' 'AND,' and 'Tuscan Leather,' increasing the concert's immersion.
Another highlight of the concert was the solo stages that concentrated each member's musical color and capabilities. Shownu created dance lines that balanced restraint and power with 'Around & Go,' and Kihyun showcased explosive vocal power and charisma with 'Howling.'
Hyungwon delivered a sensory performance with 'No Air (NO AIR),' which evokes water imagery, and Minhyuk added emotion by playing guitar himself on 'Reaching.' IM delivered intense energy with 'Error 404 (ERROR 404)' accompanied by DJing, and Jooheon reaffirmed his distinct musical world with the recent mini album's title track 'STING (Feat. Muhammad Ali)' and the album track 'Until my head touches the sky (Feat. Tiger JK)'. The solo stages of different colors proved not only the group's completeness but also the musical spectrum the members have built, raising expectations for Monsta X's diverse stages to come and prompting enthusiastic reactions from fans.
Starting with 'Autobahn,' the parade of title tracks again unfolded with 'Beautiful Liar,' 'Alligator,' and 'Shoot Out,' showing their packed performances and once again imprinting Monsta X's status as a 'reliable listen-perform' act. Also, a surprise teaser video shown near the end of the concert previewed the new song 'growing pains (Groing Peinseu)' to be released on the 6th, raising fans' expectations.
The Seoul run of 'The X : Nexus' was a stage that condensed the musical fruits Monsta X has accumulated over the past decade and the synergy of the full lineup. Connecting the past, present and future into one flow, Monsta X proved that they are an artist in a continuing state of evolution and opened a new chapter in their world tour with greater significance.
Through their agency Starship Entertainment, Monsta X said the concert was prepared with the focus on 'what kind of stage Monbebe would like,' and they felt proud because they could sense what Monbebe truly liked even on stage. They thanked fans for continuing to enjoy the concert with passionate support and cheers, and said they believed this concert could be completed thanks to Monbebe. In particular, as it was IM's last stage before enlistment, they wanted to finish it meaningfully, and they were relieved that they seemed to have genuinely enjoyed and happily performed. Having completed the Seoul concert, Monsta X will embark on the '2026 Monsta X World Tour 'The X : Nexus' in Japan' arena tour in April at Chiba's Lalaport Arena Tokyo Bay and in May at Osaka's Ookini Arena Maishima, and will continue the world tour to Asia, South America and other regions thereafter.
