'믿듣퍼' Monsta X (MONSTA X: Shownu·Minhyuk·Kihyun·Hyungwon·Jooheon·IM) opened the door to a new world tour with the presence of an even stronger complete lineup.
Monsta X held the '2026 Monsta X world tour 'The X : Nexus' (2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR 'THE X : NEXUS') at Seoul KSPO Dome (former Gymnastics Stadium) for three days from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1.
This concert was the group's first world tour in about four years since the '2022 Monsta X 'No Limit' tour in Seoul' in 2022, and it was also meaningful as a return to KSPO Dome about six months after the '2025 Monsta X Connect X' held in July last year. In particular, it was a full-lineup performance with IM ahead of his military enlistment on the 9th, and the final day's performance was streamed live online through the global streaming platform Beyond LIVE, giving global Monbebe (official fan club name) an even more unforgettable moment.
Opening with 'Dramarama (DRAMARAMA),' Monsta X showed the group's roots through a title-track medley that continued with 'Love Killa' and 'Rush Hour.' They then unleashed exceptional energy from the start with nonstop performances including 'Lone Ranger' and 'Catch Me Now.'
They reversed the mood with the 'Middle of the Night (MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT)' stage and enhanced the concert's immersion by completing their narrative in detail with performances that highlighted the members' musical abilities, including 'Deny,' 'AND,' and 'Tuscan Leather.'
Another highlight of the concert was the solo stages that concentrated each member's musical color and ability. Shownu created dance lines that alternated between restraint and power with 'Around & Go,' and Kihyun fully showcased explosive vocal power and charisma with 'Howling.'
Hyungwon delivered a sensory performance with 'No Air,' which evokes images of water, Minhyuk added emotional depth by playing guitar himself in 'Reaching,' IM delivered intense energy with 'Error 404' alongside DJing, and Jooheon reaffirmed his distinct musical world with the title track 'STING (Feat. Muhammad Ali)' and the album track 'Until my head touches the sky (Feat. Tiger JK)' from his recently released second mini album. The solo stages of different colors proved not only the group's completeness but also the musical spectrum the members have built, raising fans' enthusiastic response and anticipation for Monsta X's diverse upcoming stages.
Starting with 'Autobahn,' the parade of title tracks that continued with 'Beautiful Liar,' 'Alligator,' and 'Shoot Out' showed their packed performances and reaffirmed Monsta X's '믿듣퍼' presence. Also, a surprise teaser video released at the end of the concert previewed the new song 'growing pains' to be released on the 6th, heightening fans' expectations.
The Seoul shows of 'The X : Nexus' were stages that condensed the musical fruits Monsta X has accumulated over the past decade and the synergy of the full lineup. Connecting the past, present and future into one flow, Monsta X proved they are still an evolving 'present progressive' artist and opened a new chapter of their world tour with greater meaning.
Through their agency Starship Entertainment, Monsta X said the concert was prepared with a focus on 'what kind of performances Monbebe would like,' and they felt proud because they could feel Monbebe really liking it even on stage. They thanked fans for enjoying the concert together with passionate cheers and applause and said they believed the concert could be completed thanks to Monbebe. In particular, as IM's last stage before enlistment, they wanted to finish meaningfully and were relieved that they seemed to have genuinely enjoyed and happily performed. They asked for much expectation and support as Monsta X will continue to run without rest in 2026. They ended with I love you, Monbebe!
Meanwhile, after completing the Seoul shows, Monsta X will embark on a Japan arena tour for the '2026 Monsta X world tour 'The X : Nexus' in Japan' at Chiba's LaLa Arena Tokyo Bay in April and Osaka's Ookini Arena Maishima in May, and will continue the world tour to Asia, South America and other regions afterward.
